If pictures really are worth a thousand words, what kind of vocab do you suppose this little number racks up?

“OMG I’m here, right on ‘Main Street’, in front of Cinderella’s castle.” seems to be the short answer! I guess from that shot that you enjoyed the “Magic Kingdom” more than I did?

Fun fact – Cinderella’s castle is based on real castles that King Ludwig II of Bavaria had built, particularly Neuschwanstein.

    • Yes, guilty! I loved it! So exhausting though.. walk, walk, walk, walk. (!)

The rides weren’t as fun as I remember (obviously) but it was nice to see all the Christmas lights and stuff. Plus, I’m old enough to drink beer AND ride the tea cups. That was solid.

      Thanks for the factoid, too!

And extra bonus; it’s still tee-shirt weather in Florida, for those of us who live in Northern latitudes like Ontario and Scotland!

      • So, are you in Ontario then? Or Scotland? Yes, Florida was a welcome break from the rain and cold here in Toronto.. especially since we were hit with our first nasty storm of the season. Oh, here we go!

I guess you mean me? I’m in Scotland, but since Scotland runs from Lat 55N up to Lat 60N it’s similar Latitude to Ontario. We get much milder and wetter Winters than you do though, and I’m sure I said somewhere but most of my Canadian relatives live in Toronto or within 60 miles or so.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, Zip-A-Dee-Day! Oh, my, my, what a wonderful day! Plenty of sunshine heading my way. Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, Zip-A-Dee-Day!

  4. I was there yesterday, that castle is so gorgeous at night.

  5. *coughs* Er… I was in front of the Magic Castle at the original Disneyland on Sunday. It’s kinda like… me not paying attention to the location of all these castle-things.
